Sophisticated Chicken Press exists because great books deserve to find their readers. We work with indie authors who are serious about their craft — writers who have done the work and are ready to set it free without waiting for a gatekeeper's permission.

Every book published under our imprint receives hands-on care, which means we're deliberately selective. We only take on projects we find genuinely promising and exciting.

We consider adult fiction across all genres with a particular interest in character-driven work with high stakes and a compelling voice or point of view.
